RULES OF PRIZE AWARDING AT THE INTERNATIONAL GRAPHIC AND PAPER INDUSTRY FAIR GRAFIMA
Article 1.
In order to support and improve the product quality displayed at the International Graphic and Paper Industry Fair GRAFIMA and affirmation of the Exhibitors extremely successful in it, Belgrade Fair awards prizes to the manufacturers of the best exhibits.
Article 2.
The present Rules regulate the type and number of prizes, their awarding criteria, the method of jury forming and operation and others.
Article 3.
The exhibits applied by the Exhibitors for the rewarding have been divided into ten product groups as follows:

- Children's and Picture Books
- Textbooks and Scholl Books
- Scientific and Trade Books
- Lexicons and Encyclopedias
- Bibliophile Editions
- Monographs and Art Reproductions
- Phonebooks and Time Tables
- MAGAZINES AND REVIEWS
- Pad and Rotation Printing
- NEWSPAPERS
- Single and Multi Color Newspapers
- PACKAGING
- Packaging and Paper Processing Products
- Cardboard and Corrugated Cardboard Composed Packaging
- Folding Packaging and Paper Goods (boxes, envelopes, bags, labels, notebooks, blocks, wall papers, printed and non- printed packaging from single or multi layer materials, etc.)
- ACCIDENTAL PRODUCTS AND SECURITIES
- Billboards, Leaflets, Picture Postcards, Diplomas, Charters, Medallions,
- Recognitions, Letter Heads, Memos, Business Letters, Chart Products, Cartography Products, Labels, Forms, etc.
- Bankbooks, Passports, Banknotes, Stamps, Checks, Bonds, Drafts, Policies, Debit Cards, ID Cards, Special Protection Products, etc.

Article 4.
Within each product group, the GOLDEN SEAL DIPLOMA and SILVER SEAL DIPLOMA are awarded for the most successful products.
The GOLDEN, SILVER AND BRONZE SEAL Recognitions are awarded for the total quality.
Article 5.
The Golden Seal Diploma provides three points and the Silver Seal Diploma two points.
Based upon the collected points, the GOLDEN SEAL Recognition shall be awarded to the Exhibitor with the most points and so on.
In the case of the same amount of points, the Golden Seal shall be awarded to the Exhibitor with more Golden Seal Diplomas (the same applies to the Silver Seal accordingly).
Article 6.
The rewarding criteria are as follows:
- The product originality
- The product design
- The product printing
- The product postpress
- The product packing and
- The complete look of the product.
All elements shall participate in the product estimation equally.
Article 7.
The prize awarding competition applying are as follows:
- That the manufacturer of the applied exhibit has been regularly registered as an Exhibitor or Co-Exhibitor.
- That the product competes for the estimation for the first time at Belgrade Fair
- Only the products for the following year may compete in the product group CALENDARS
- That the Exhibitor applying for the prize product participated in its production with not less than 51%.
Article 8.
An Exhibitor may compete with several products within a product group, but only with one product from the sub-group covered by the same product group.
The Exhibitor shall submit his product to the Jury in the way he considers the best.
If it has been found out during the estimation that the data in the estimation application form do not meet the actual condition, such applied product shall not be estimated.
Article 9.
The Jury reserves the right to move the product in a more appropriate group than the applied one. The Jury shall reward only the products satisfying the above mentioned quality estimation criteria. If the professional Jury estimates like that, no prizes shall be awarded in some product groups.
Article 10.
The number of prizes may not increased and/or transferred from the not rewarded product groups.
Article 11.
International Exhibitors, i.e. Co-Exhibitors may compete for Belgrade Fair prizes, as well.
Article 12.
Belgrade Fair CEO shall select the Jury upon suggestions of the trade institutions and economic associations, so that all product groups and prize awarding criteria have been covered by experts in such branches.
Article 13.
Two Juries shall be formed for the prize awarding at the GRAFIMA Fair as follows:
- For the Product Groups 1 - 8 a five members Jury and
- For the Product Group 9 a three members Jury.
Article 14.
For the operation continuity purposes, 2/3 members of both Juries shall remain the same as in the previous ones.
Article 15.
An employee of the Exhibitor, having applied with a competition product or any person participating in its manufacturing in any way, may not be a member of the Jury.
Article 16.
The Jury shall elect its President among its members. The same person may be elected not more than three times consecutively.
The President shall lead the sessions and represent the Jury in public relations contacts.
Article 17.
The Jury shall operate based upon the applications submitted not later than September 10 in the current year for the exhibits in the product groups 1 – 8.
For the Product Group 9, GRAPHIC INDUSTRY MACHINERY, DEVICES AND SOFTWARE, the Jury shall operate on the event first and second day.
Article 18.
The Jury shall operate independently and take decisions by the vote majority of its all members. The Jury shall make the relevant reports on its operation. The Jury decisions shall be final.
Article 19.
Belgrade Fair shall provide technical assistance to the Jury and shall in no way be responsible for the Jury's decisions. Based upon the Jury's decision, Belgrade Fair awards prizes at a festive event organized by itself on this occasion during the fair event.
Article 20.
A prize winner shall be entitled to print the prize sign/symbol on its serial copies of the rewarded exhibit, on the product packaging, the related documents, leaflets and catalogues, etc, i.e. to point out in some other way that just such product had won certain Belgrade Fair prize accordingly.
Article 21.
Special Recognitions, as well as prizes of the trade institutions connected by their activities to those of the Exhibitors at the above mentioned fair event, may be awarded at the Grafima Fair, as well.
Such Recognitions may be awarded also based upon the rules being not in compliance with the present ones.
The acceptance for these Recognitions awarding shall be given by the Belgrade Fair CEO, based upon the written request of the institutions and the suggested complete regulations.
Article 22.
The present Rules shall be applied since May 28, 2009.
